If you’re pregnant and considering abortion, it’s important to have an ultrasound first. An ultrasound will tell you how many weeks pregnant you are, which will determine the type of abortion specific to you. You’ll also learn if your pregnancy is viable (heartbeat is detected). Statistics show that 25-31% of early pregnancies will end in natural miscarriage.
If you are a woman facing an unplanned pregnancy, we will help you understand the type of abortion method for your specific stage of pregnancy. Carolina Pregnancy Center provides factual information about abortion and its risks to help you make an informed decision. Our staff can also explain the Women’s Right To Know legal requirements and what it means to you if you’re planning to obtain an abortion in NC.
We do not perform or refer for abortion.

Day parenting classes are offered in the Center or by phone. A client attends 8 classes that include viewing educational videos and talking with one of our client advocates. At the completion of 8 classes, the client is eligible to receive a car seat or other incentive based on availability.
Night parenting classes are offered twice a year, in the fall and spring. These classes are held at CPC for one night a week for 5 consecutive weeks in the evening. Clients earn vouchers throughout the program to turn in for material items for their child.
Post Abortion Counseling
After an abortion, we offer one-on-one counseling to help one heal from a current or past abortion.
Baby Clothes and Maternity Clothes
Clients can receive baby clothes and supplies or maternity clothes after watching an educational video and talking with a client advocate.
Sometimes a client just needs a listening ear as they work through the emotions and options that come with their situation. Carolina Pregnancy Center is here to help. We care about you and respect your privacy
